A study from Amadeus Company, revealed that experts predict that by 2020 China will be the third tourist destination in the world, ahead of Spain, which has traditionally been located in second place.

The study "The expert traveler" by Amadeus, a provider of technology and distribution solutions for the travel industry and tourism, said that as the economies of the BRIC countries (Brazil, Russia, India and China) are growing, the landscape of traditional tourism and business travel is changing.
The survey was made by two thousand 719 professionals in travel and in-depth interviews with 30 experts and senior executives from companies like Kayak, Forrester and Qatar Airways.
The group of experts consulted identified the adventure travel, with 83 percent, the religious, with 55 percent, and boyfriends, with 45 percent, as key growth areas for specialized holidays.
Ian Wheeler, the Vice-President of Marketing and Distribution of Amadeus, said: "The growing knowledge of the tourists has had a profound impact on the travel industry because the average consumer is more qualified and informed through the Internet.
