Cuban Tourism reaches 2 million foreign visitors

A program of work for the success of the international tourism in Cuba (November-April) was approved by leaders of Hotels and Tourism.

A few days after that commitment despite the global crisis and the health situation, the Mayor of the West Indies fail to complete two million visitors for the sixth consecutive year, this time with 15 days prior to the date that was reached in 2008, according to the Ministry of Tourism.

The next step of international arrivals is a goal for workers in every tourist facility, but December is a crucial month for purposes of Cuba to increase the number of foreign visitors.

The authorities of the Cuban tourist industry ratified the strategy to receive more than 2 million 400 thousand tourists, a higher number than the preceding stage.

Cuba experienced a cumulative growth of arrivals of 3.9 percent.
